Paddywax’s Destinations Collection gets new look; new exotic locales

ATLANTA, GA, March 15, 2007 – Paddywax’s newly styled Destinations Collection is for the sophisticated traveler.  With a smart new look that is decidedly minimalist and décor-driven; the eight worldly fragrances will satisfy your wanderlust with a strike of a match.  Departing from their signature clear, round glass, Paddywax has dressed their Destinations Collection in sleek brown, matte glasses.  Their unique square shape and substantial weight tends toward a basic, no frills home accessory.  However, the collection is anything but basic.  Boasting the crisp smells of Mykonos, heady florals of Bermuda, exotic aromas of Sri Lanka, Provence and Sahara, Destinations celebrates some of the most beautiful locales in the world.  New to the itinerary are the intoxicating fragrance of Napa Valley and warm, rich scents of San Miguel.  Adding to the collection’s appeal, is that the poured glass candles are packaged in handsome travel-stamped brown boxes that slide open to reveal the travel treasure.

Each locale also comes in a variety of handsome pillar shapes and sizes.  The pillars, done in complimenting color duos, make stunning home accessories.  Pricing for the glasses is $28; pillars range from $20 to $40.  The newly vamped collection will be available online (www.paddywax.com) and in select retail locations across the country this spring.

Paddywax celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2006.  The line, which began with colorful layered candles in imaginative scents, has expanded to include seven unique collections.  Gretchen Hollingsworth and David Duncan, the creative husband and wife team behind the artisan candle company, sight life’s joys – family, travel, and food– as their biggest inspirations, which help to keep Paddywax fresh, fun and a leader in the industry.
