Take a journey with Paddywax’s new collection

 

ATLANTA, GA, March 1, 2007 – Make room on your coffee table, office desk, studio window or shelf; Paddywax has done it again.  The newest collection from the artisan candle company – Journey of the Bee – delivers a modern sensibility with its streamlined design and contemporary fragrances. 

 

Created as a tribute to the bee, each fragrance reflects a stop along the bee’s journey from the early blossom of sweet Clover to the final destination of Raw Honey.  Other fragrant stops along the way include Freesia, Orange Blossom, Wild Blackberry and Rose.  Each fragrance is a product of hand-poured premium beeswax blend, which ensures optimum burn time and fragrance throw.  Departing from traditional clear glasses, Journey of the Bee candles come in a chic black matte glass adorned with a gold bee emblem.  

 

The stylish, new collection further showcases sleek design through its exquisite boxes with crisp white lids stamped in honeycomb design and vibrant, color-saturated bottoms.  Once opened, the boldly colored boxes reveal another surprise (such is a typical practice of the imaginative candle company) a whimsical gold-foil flight pattern of a bee.  Playing up the notion that packaging (but not only packaging) is key, the oversized boxes matter-of-factly display six b facts – one for each tempting fragrance.  Who knew home décor came with a smart dose of trivia?  Journey of the Bee retails for $36 and will be available at select boutiques across the country and online at www.paddywax.com.   

 

Some of Hollywood’s tastemakers have already become fans of the chic set.  Jessica Biel, Jaime Pressly, Hayden Panettiere and Seth Green flipped over the fresh, earthy scent of Clover.  Brooke Shields, a floral-lover, took to the Freesia and Rose scents and requested fragrances from other Paddywax collections.
