Paddywax Introduces New Classics

ATLANTA, GA, March 13, 2006 – A classic is forever – crisp white linens, the perfect pair of black pumps and now, new fragrant candles from Paddywax that entice the senses.  In time for summer soirees and travels, Paddywax has added five new mouth-watering scents to their sophisticated Classic Collection.

Kickoff the sultry season by tempting your nose with notes of refreshing Mint Mojito (in vibrant turquoise), Passionfruit Guava (bold pink), Plumeria (bright yellow), Rosemary (demure blue) and Kumquat Melon (robust orange). Dressed in their stylish white and black gift box, the Classic Collection now boasts 20 tantalizing fragrances and colors.  Each candle is hand-poured using the finest natural fragrance oils and vegetable wax blend to ensure a long and fragrant burn time.  The colorful and highly fragrant candles are a chic accessory in any home and make fun gifts as well. The poured glass candles (8 oz.) in the Classic Collection have a burn time of 60 hours.

Paddywax celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. The line, which began with colorful layered candles in imaginative scents, has expanded to include six unique collections that appeal to any and all tastes. Gretchen Hollingsworth and David Duncan, the creative husband and wife team behind the artisan candle company, sight life’s joys – family, travel, and food– as their biggest inspirations, which help to keep Paddywax fresh, fun and a leader in the industry.

Paddywax candles are made in Decatur, Georgia and are sold online at www.paddywax.com and in fashion forward retail boutiques, including Fred Segal, Anthropologie and Bloomingdales, across the country.
